BOB MAUGER

Lisa was wonderful to work with. We were the buyers, and we definitely made the right decision to work with Lisa. She especially knows the Callaway Gardens / Pine Mountain area, and tipped us off to new listings. We said no to the first few options and then pounced on the right one when it became available. Without having been working with Lisa, we might not have had a chance to make an offer. She was great throughout the entire process, being especially prompt and complete in answering all of our questions. She is very professional, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have worked with on such an important decision. Thanks Lisa

We moved To Callaway from Brooks, Georgia, which is about 45 minutes south of Atlanta. After looking around at several areas within and out of state we chose Callaway based on its proximity to Atlanta and Columbus. We love the idea of enjoying the gardens daily either by walking, hiking, or biking. We love the small town community feel within Callaway and in Pine Mountain. This past year has been so enjoyable with all the activities and meeting wonderful people within this community. It is worth the daily commute to Atlanta to finally get home at Callaway every evening.

I have only been a Longleaf resident for a short time here in beautiful Callaway Resort and Gardens, but it feels like I've been here forever. I visited Callaway regularly as a child, brought my children here as they grew up, and now I get to live here! It feels like I'm always on vacation with the Gardens as my backyard! Come on over!

We are truly blessed being able to live where others come to vacation. Callaway’s 2,500 acres provides us the largest backyard with miles and miles of well groomed paved trails which we hike, bike or run almost every day. We play golf on one of the two courses whenever the kids come home and enjoy taking the golf cart to dinner at one of the four most excellent restaurants. Living at Callaway is fun and easy, but we still like to travel, and Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport is just an hour away.

Callaway Gardens is such a wonderful place to live, work, and play! Ed and I bought our home as a vacation home in 2016, as we lived in Albany, GA, and the two-hour drive was just right for long fun weekends. During these weekends we met such great neighbors and enjoyed all of the wonderful amenities such as golf, bicycle trails, hiking, the beach, special weekends such as Sip and Savor, Steeplechase, and Fantasy in Lights, that we decided to make it our permanent home in 2019. It truly is a perfect place to live, work, and play!

Rhonda and I were looking to escape the heat and humidity of Florida, move closer to family and avoid big city hustle, bustle and traffic. Callaway Gardens and its three seasons, quiet, small town environment satisfied our need. We were fortunate to find a lot on the golf course and build a house that met our everyday need and accommodate family and friends visits. The opportunities for people who enjoy outdoor activities and nature are plentiful. The natural beauty of the gardens with its magnolias and flowers plus the active lifestyle of walking, biking, swimming, boating, and golf solidified our decision to live in Callaway Gardens. We thoroughly enjoy our neighborhood, neighbors, and sitting on our porch in the quiet of Callaway.
